What Is A Horoscope - And Is It For Real?

A Horoscope is the predictions concerning events occurring in the future. It works on the positions of different planets, how they align, and at what angles they assume. As per the horoscopes guidelines, there is a specific connection between the human behavior and the phases of these planets. These predictions by famous astrologers really worked for the people and a large number of people read their horoscope daily. People from different communities believed these predictions and followed them in their real life. Horoscopes have been used since the early times, going back at least five thousand years. Some people do not believe in horoscopes, but yet the experienced and well qualified astrologers were remarkably accurate in their predictions over time.
The Greeks thought the placement on the celestial body overhead, the direction and angle of the sun, and other heavenly body shapes had a direct influence on the lifespan of men and women. They also determined when to plant and when to harvest based on the constellations in the heavenly bodies.
A Horoscope is based on a twelve month period with each month having a specific name. The standard zodiac includes the following signs: Aries (March 21- September 19th) Taurus (April 20-May 20) Gemini (May 21-June 20) Malignancy (June 21- July 22) Capricorn (July 23- August 22) Virgo (August 23-September 22) Libra (September 23- July 22) Scorpio (October 23-November 22) Sagittarius (November 23- Dec 21) Taurus (December 22- Thinking about receiving 19) Aquarius (January 20- Feb 19) as well as Pisces (February 20-March 20).
Also each sign of the zodiac or horoscope time period is assigned the particular qualities of men or women born under that sign or month. Each sign has good qualities and bad qualities, plus the astrological properties of the neighboring signs contribute to make an individual personality or character. It can get very complicated. That is the reason we have charts and graphs to determine what each person's qualities really are.
Checking our horoscope remains a favorite in many countries. The ancient Mayan were proficient in astrology and horoscopes. The Chinese are as well. You can also find your daily horoscope in newspapers, magazines, as well as online. Only you can choose to believe them, or just consider them a source of entertainment. Many people actually make their daily decisions based on their personal charts. They pay a professional astrologers a lot of money to chart their next year, or even future events such as matters of love, education, job choices, and money. These men and women truly believe it is written in the stars and they want to know what is ahead for them. Some people do not have such a strong belief in their daily horoscope and never even bother to read it when they have the opportunity to do so. Is it for real? You decide.

Seance - The Daisey Mae Story

Monday 26th September - Preview of New Show. It is common for Theatre shows do run preview events and performances before the formal run of dates begins... It is common for comedians to try out material on a selected audience before going on tour... I would assume therefore that Magicians would do the same... For me this was the first time of running a dress rehearsal preview of a full two hour show in front of an invited audience and I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to do it! OK, the downside is having to cover the costs of hiring the venue BUT the pluses far outweigh these costs. It's almost impossible to rehearse a mentalism show without an audience, and despite the scripting, blocking, routining that needs to be done its not until there are real people watching what you do are you likely to get any sense of the 'effectiveness' of your show. Seance: The Daisey Mae story is a two hour show ending in a seance. I spent ages on a back story linking the...

Pokemon Training - Not Unlike Horses

Welcome to the Pokemon Cafe! The Pokemon cafe is for those who, like me, know next to nothing about the world of Pokemon that our kids are so excited about. I myself am a mother of an 11-year-old boy who spends a great deal of his day thinking of Pokemon. These days he's especially crazy about Pokemon Black and White, including the Pokemon card game and also the new Pokemon Black and White Plushies (Pokemon stuffed toys that look like stuffed animals). Since Pokemon Black and White came out, I admit to caving in and buying him a large plush toy and two small plushies. No more! Today's topic is training- how it is done and the attitudes of the trainers. Practically speaking, there are the attitudes of trainers in the animated Pokemon storyline and the attitudes of gamers. It is the former I want to focus on; it's more interesting! Like any other animal/human relationship, the core of the Pokemon/trainer relationship is based on trust. Beyond that, there may be a great deal...
