A Simple Introduction To Numerology


Numerology has been invented a thousand of years ago, although not everyone is acquainted with it. What really is numerology? Is it just like any other kind of science? Or does it stand out from the rest? Don't know the answers to these questions? In this article, we will take you on a short journey into the world of numerology. Here is a brief introduction to the wonderful world of numbers and numerology.
The word numerology is a combination of the two words namely, 'number' and 'ology'. Everyone knows what 'numbers' mean; 'ology' refers to a deep study on a particular subject. Thus these words when put together spell, 'numerology' which is a deep study on numbers. It aims to join the dots between numbers and humans. Studies state that numbers have an influence on our lives. Numerology is an attempt at finding this particular relation and understanding what it actually states. So how does it work? Apparently every single thing in the universe vibrates at a particular frequency. Now if you manage to find the rate of frequency at which it vibrates, you can find out its qualities and also the energies that the object possesses. For humans, their date of birth and other numbers that are related to them are taken into consideration. All the numbers are simply converted into single digits in order to calculate their distinguished frequency. In the same way, even the alphabets related to them are also converted into single digit numbers, for example A is 1, B is 2 and so on. The number that you fall into, enters deep into your mind in order to determine your hidden personality and the traits that follow your nature. Similarly, you can find out about a person's strengths, weaknesses and many more things that you thought were impossible to find out. Now why is numerology better than other predictions? Reason number one is that it is scientific. It has been deeply studied and proved for over a thousand of years. Its results are found to be more or less accurate all the time, unlike other predictions. The important numbers include life path number, destiny number, soul number, master number, etc.
Numerology is believed to be a science by most people, however, we would say that numerology is a journey. It is a journey that has been touching lives of people for thousands of years and is still growing stronger, touching more lives on the way. Long live Numerology!

Monday 26th September - Preview of New Show. It is common for Theatre shows do run preview events and performances before the formal run of dates begins... It is common for comedians to try out material on a selected audience before going on tour... I would assume therefore that Magicians would do the same... For me this was the first time of running a dress rehearsal preview of a full two hour show in front of an invited audience and I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to do it! OK, the downside is having to cover the costs of hiring the venue BUT the pluses far outweigh these costs. It's almost impossible to rehearse a mentalism show without an audience, and despite the scripting, blocking, routining that needs to be done its not until there are real people watching what you do are you likely to get any sense of the 'effectiveness' of your show.
