October - Letting Go and Starting Over


August and September have been very intense months to say the least.
August was a month of letting go of things within ourselves, letting go of blocks and obstacles that were holding us back. Many of us went through a dark night of the soul, being broken down to our very essence so we could be rebuilt better and stronger than before.
September was a month of letting go of relationships that no longer serve us. There was a letting go of people who were holding us back, people who are on a different path, going in a different direction. We saw friendships end, marriages disintegrate, business partnerships destroyed. There has been a breaking down to make way for the new.
During September we also saw the beginning of the American people standing up and saying 'Enough' with the 'Occupy Wall Street' movement. Our young people are camped out in New York and other cities in an effort to reclaim their future which has been stolen from them. I am very excited to see this, and expect this movement to continue to grow.
As we move into October, there is a feeling of expansiveness. We are ready to move forward with our lives and make the changes we have been avoiding. There is a new sense of freedom and optimism.
It is very important to remember that the people who have left our lives weren't beneficial to us, or they would still be here. It is becoming even more important that we be with people of like vibration at this time. Those who have left our lives have chosen not to make the leap with us at this time. That is their choice and they will be given another opportunity, but we must continue to forge ahead into the higher vibrations. We cannot stop and wait for them to catch up.
It is very important at this time in our evolution that we learn to Trust the Creator to provide for our needs. This is a lesson we have been learning for several years, but it is time to truly 'get it'. We must know that everything we need is right here waiting for us to reach out for it. This is an important month for putting the Law of Attraction to work in our life and creating the reality we want.
October will be another month of increasing vibrations. The intense Solar Flares we have been experiencing are forcing our vibrations, and the vibrations of the Earth, ever higher. Those of us who already have a higher vibration, will be raised even higher. Those of lower vibrations will barely notice the change.
Our world is changing, and will never be the same again. The 'Powers That Be' are realizing that they are losing the fight, but they are not ready to give up yet. We are succeeding in creating the New World we have all dreamed of, but there is a long way to go yet. Don't allow yourself to become discouraged.
As your life falls into even more chaos, realize that it is leading us in a positive direction. Breathe through the changes and allow the birthing process to take it's natural course.

Monday 26th September - Preview of New Show. It is common for Theatre shows do run preview events and performances before the formal run of dates begins... It is common for comedians to try out material on a selected audience before going on tour... I would assume therefore that Magicians would do the same... For me this was the first time of running a dress rehearsal preview of a full two hour show in front of an invited audience and I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to do it! OK, the downside is having to cover the costs of hiring the venue BUT the pluses far outweigh these costs. It's almost impossible to rehearse a mentalism show without an audience, and despite the scripting, blocking, routining that needs to be done its not until there are real people watching what you do are you likely to get any sense of the 'effectiveness' of your show.
